Our Staffing & Training Process

Why Freedom Cleaning Services

Our Staffing & Training Process

The quality of our cleaning is only as good as the people doing it. Here's exactly how we hire, vet, train, and develop every member of our team.

Freedom Cleaning Services professional team

Our Team

Background-checked, trained, and accountable

Why Staffing Is the Foundation of Quality

Most cleaning quality problems trace back to one root cause: the wrong people, inadequately trained, without proper supervision. A cleaning company can have the best equipment, the best products, and the most detailed checklists — but if the person doing the work doesn't care, doesn't know what they're doing, or isn't being held accountable, none of it matters.

At Freedom, we've built our staffing and training process around a simple belief: the people who clean your building are a direct reflection of our company. We hire accordingly, train thoroughly, and hold our team to professional standards that most cleaning companies don't even attempt.

Our Hiring Standards

Who We Hire — And Who We Don't

Comprehensive Background Checks

Every candidate undergoes a full criminal background check before receiving a job offer. This isn't a formality — it's a non-negotiable requirement. Our clients trust us with access to their facilities, and that trust starts with knowing exactly who we're sending through their doors.

Reference Verification

We contact previous employers and verify employment history. We're looking for reliability, professionalism, and a track record of showing up and doing the work.

In-Person Interview

Every candidate completes an in-person interview with a Freedom supervisor. We're evaluating character, communication, and attitude — not just experience. We can teach cleaning techniques. We can't teach integrity.

Bonded & Insured

Every Freedom employee is bonded and insured before their first assignment. This protects our clients and reflects our commitment to accountability at every level.

Our Training Program

How We Train Our Team

1

New Hire Orientation

New team members complete a structured orientation covering Freedom's standards, safety protocols, product knowledge, and professional conduct expectations. Before they clean a single building, they understand what we expect and why.

2

Skills Training

Hands-on training in cleaning techniques, equipment operation, product application, and surface-specific protocols. We train to a standard, not a schedule — team members advance when they demonstrate competency, not just when they've completed a certain number of hours.

3

Facility-Specific Onboarding

When assigned to a new facility, team members complete a facility-specific training session with a supervisor. They walk the building, review the written cleaning program, and practice any special protocols before their first solo visit.

4

Ongoing Development

Training doesn't stop after onboarding. We conduct regular team meetings, share updated protocols, and provide additional training when new products, equipment, or client requirements are introduced. Our best team members are recognized and given opportunities to advance into supervisory roles.

“We don't just hire cleaners. We build cleaning professionals who take pride in their work and represent Freedom Cleaning Services with integrity.”

Professional Standards

What Professionalism Looks Like at Freedom

Professional Appearance

Freedom team members arrive in uniform, clean and presentable. Your employees and clients will always know who the cleaning team is — and they'll look like professionals.

Attendance & Reliability

We track attendance and hold our team accountable to their schedules. If a team member is absent, we have backup staffing protocols to ensure your facility is still cleaned on time.

Supervision

Every cleaning team operates under the oversight of a supervisor who conducts regular inspections and is available to address issues in real time. Our cleaners aren't unsupervised — they're supported.

Safety Practices

Team members are trained in chemical safety, proper product handling, and workplace safety protocols. We follow OSHA guidelines and maintain Safety Data Sheets for all products we use.

Security & Confidentiality

Our team members are trained to respect the security and confidentiality of every facility they enter. Doors are locked, alarms are set, and sensitive areas are treated with appropriate care.

Continuous Development

We invest in our team's growth. High performers are recognized, given additional responsibilities, and offered advancement opportunities. A team that feels valued does better work.
