What Apartment Communities Actually Need From a Cleaning Company
Property managers don't need a cleaning company that shows up on a fixed schedule regardless of what's happening at the property. They need a partner who understands that a unit turnover on a Friday afternoon is more urgent than a scheduled hallway clean, that a prospective resident touring on Saturday morning needs to see a spotless leasing office, and that a maintenance issue found during cleaning needs to be reported before it becomes a resident complaint.
The two biggest cleaning problems for apartment communities are turnovers and common area consistency. Turnovers need to happen fast — every vacant day is lost revenue — but they also need to meet a move-in standard that doesn't generate a maintenance ticket on day one. Common areas need to look clean every day, not just on cleaning days. We build our programs around both.
